Admissions

Undergraduate students may be admitted to BGSU after successful completion of 12 years of formal studies in primary and secondary schools. Graduate students may be admitted to BGSU after completion of a four year bachelor’s degree and 12 years of preparatory formal studies.

International student applicants must send the documents listed below directly to the Center for International Programs for admission review:

Note: All of the credentials indicated below must be official documents in the English language. Official documents must be the original documents, notarized copies, or official English translations with the official seal or stamp of the notary or the English translator on each document. We cannot accept photocopies or documents marked "Issued to Student".

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate Application

The application process requires the following:

  • $40 non-refundable application fee
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Official transcripts from secondary school and from any post-secondary school attended (no photocopies accepted)
  • Official TOEFL examination score or Michigan Test
  • BGSU Financial Statement (PDF)

Graduate Students

Graduate Application

The application process requires the following:

  • $30 non-refundable application fee
  • $15 admission fee
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • BGSU Financial Statement (PDF)
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary schools (no photocopies accepted)
  • Official score from the GRE/GMAT exam
  • Official TOEFL examination score or Michigan Test
  • Graduate Admissions Application
